People love to dance because it feels good. Artists that make people dance are the pied pipers of the 21st century. One of the new pied pipers is Norka Luque.
Norka Luque was born in Venezuela. Her parents knew she had talent when she was just a toddler. When Norka heard music, she would start dancing before she turned three. At the age of eight, Norka was cast in a Venezuelan musical that was based on Shakira’s music. Shikira became Norka’s idol. Norka’s parents thought that if a Colombian singer like Shakira could make it in the music business, Norka could make it too, so they moved to the United States. Norka studied music while she was going to school in Florida. But her parents knew the road to a successful career in music was a long and difficult one, so they encouraged her to go to France and get a business degree.
Luque studied business in France, but she also got a job as the lead singer in a rock group called, “Bad Moon Rising.” The group played in the small French Clubs. Norka developed a reputation for being a singer that could make people want to dance. But when she earned her degree in business, she got a job in finance in Monte Carlo. In 2007, she went to a Ricky Martin concert, and she knew Latin music was calling her.
Miami is the home of Latin Music in the United States, and Luque is a great Latin singer. She started singing in Miami, and the word spread. Norka voice is unique and her range is incredible. Norka was offered a contract by the famous music producer Emilio Estefan, and she recorded her first single in 2011. Two more Norka Luque singles have hit the Latin and American Billboard Dance Charts since then. Norka voice is making the world want to dance. Her voice crosses international boundaries, and her musical ability is making headlines in the entertainment world.
